It's spring, and I have bronchitis, after 3 days with antibiotics, this morning, I woke up with a wonderful sun.
It filtered through the shutters, drawing very evocative figures inside my room, at a certain point, its rays went to meet some old flowers, almost withered, that I had in a vase, on a table.
Well, I started the fantasy, an impulse of creativity that literally made me jump out of bed, to the devil my bronchitis, antibiotics, phlegm, bronchial burning, cigarettes, physical debilitation, and above all breakfast.
I put on my jeans, and go downstairs, open my office and start throwing down a sketch.
I thought we should celebrate this Italian spring day with a watercolor.
I take the pencil and start making an outline, dreaming of flowers, with the pencil I didn't know where I was going, but with the memory of the sun's rays in my room, I took courage.
Yes, it takes courage to paint with watercolors.
I have already explained to you that it is a damn difficult technique and does not have the blank that can cover up the errors.
As it happens in oil painting, tempera painting and acrylics.
Many artists know the difficulties of the prince of light technique, the watercolor.
So one step at a time, with courage and a great desire to paint spring.
I needed colors and energy.
I completely invented everything, from the vase to the flowers, but I hope you like the result.

E' primavera, ed io ho la bronchite, dopo 3 giorni con antibiotici, stamattina, mi sono svegliato con un sole meraviglioso.
Filtrava dalle persiane, disegnando dentro la mia camera delle figure molto evocative, ad certo punto, i suoi raggi sono andati ad incontrare dei vecchi fiori, quasi appassiti, che avevo in un vaso, su un tavolino.
Beh, mi è partita la fantasia, un impulso di creatività che mi ha fatto letteralmente schizzare dal letto, fregandomene della bronchite, degli antibiotici, del catarro, del bruciore ai bronchi, delle sigarette, della debilitazione fisica, e soprattutto della colazione.
Metto i jeans, e scendo giù, apro il mio studio e comincio a buttare giù uno schizzo.
Ho pensato che fosse il caso di festeggiare questa giornata di primavera italiana, con un acquarello.
Prendo la matita ed inizio a fare un contorno, sognando fiori, con la matita non sapevo dove andassi a finire, ma forte del ricordo dei raggi solari nella mia stanza, ho preso coraggio.
Si, ci vuole coraggio a dipingere con gli acquarelli.
Vi ho già spiegato che è una tecnica maledettamente difficile e non ha il bianco che può coprire gli errori.
Come invece avviene nella pittura ad olio, nella pittura a tempera e con gli acrilici.
Tanti artisti conoscono le difficoltà della tecnica principe della luce, l'acquarello.
Quindi un passaggio alla volta, con coraggio e tanta voglia di dipingere la primavera.
Avevo bisogno di colori e di energia.
Ho completamente inventato tutto, dal vaso ai fiori, ma spero che il risultato vi piaccia.
