Things get busy, huh? Whilst we lay the best plans, sometimes the mice just darn well eat them. We've been meaning to do a Natural Medicine update for a while, because lots has been happening behind the scenes, and we'd like to update you on all the goings on!

Delegations
Our upvote is now worth more, meaning we have more love to share around and more love to give. This is largely due the generous donation of 1k by @theycallmedan and @sagescrub, who also donated a huge chunk to the Natural Medicine account. @sagescrub writes of why he gave so much toward this project:
I see the @NaturalMedicine community here on steem serving a very important role and filling a huge need. We as a human race need healing; spiritual healing, mental healing, emotional healing and physical healing. Many of us are waking up and realizing that we don't know how to naturally nourish one or more of our mind, body, or spirit. This need for healing applies to every individual on steem, whether they are on the path or not. Those, like myself, that are waking up and realizing that natural nourishment is essential to human health; we can benefit from the Natural Medicine community. The people in the @naturalmedicine community are learning together. And those that have wisdom are offering it to those that are in need. This is why I choose to up my delegation to Natural Medicine; I want to help support and encourage natural healing, wisdom and knowledge.
We couldn't have put it better ourselves. We also thank @artemislives for constantly reviewing how much she can give each month and incrementally upping her delegation because she believes in us in the same way. We also thank @anggreklestari for her delegation this week and to @zen-art too who upped her delegation. Every little matters, and rest assured we're doing what we can to support you.
Fanbase
As we grow, we're more in a position to add members who delegate and follow the curation trail to our fanbase. Currently we're reviewing the numbers and working out just how much this can handle, but if you delegate over 250 SP and/or are a regular contributor to Natural Medicine either by curating, editing, or other fun stuff, you'll be on a tiered autovote for every daily post you write. We're also autovoting posts by @tribesteemup and @homesteaderscoop, as they both are big supporters of @naturalmedicine and help our account grow with what they do, plus, their ethos aligns so much with ours we consider them sister tribes. Of course, we're hoping for a whale delegation which may mean we can autovote more of you - fingers crossed! If you're a whale, and you're reading this, please do get in touch!
Affiliation with @homesteaderscoop
Homesteaders Co-op is an ethical marketplace powered by Steem. Last week we wrote a page for the 'Community' section of their website to highlight what Natural Medicine does and to appeal to non-Steemians who might want to come on board. We're proud to help out the team at HSCO as they have much in common with our own ethos here at NM. Check out our community pages here.
5 Questions - Featuring Members
Our member features have been brilliant - check out the interview with @ravenking13 this week, an amazing alchemist! This week we're featuring @frejafri with her ecovillage dreams. Can't wait! If you know of someone you'd love to hear interviewed, let us know and we'll set to work!
Hump Day
We also decided to support our members more by awarding a weekly 'hump day' prize for a great natural medicine post. This might be anywhere between 1 and 5 SBI, depending on funds - you'll be featured in a Wednesday Hump Day curation and be notified via a comment. Last week's winner, @anggreklestari, was thrilled with her suprise curation for her post on betel leaves! She's been featuring natural medicines in her area and is well worth checking out. You can read about hump day here!

Contest
We're currently running the second of our 'Plant Medicine' challenges and it's not too late to write a post. Winners announced on Sunday. The current plants to write about are thyme, salvia divinorum and valerian. Check out three 'thymely' entries by Natural Medicine members below!

Of course, there's more to natural medicine than 'plant medicines', but we're having so much fun with this one we're going to run it for a while longer yet! We'd love you to write in the comments below what plant you'd like to be featured! Guava? Mango? Oregano? Reiki Mushrooms? Rose? Nature rocks - let's explore what medicinal value it can bring to our lives!

Disclaimer
We felt it was important to understand that whilst many Steemians post great things on natural medicines, it's important to do our own research and often consult with a professional before taking anything as medical gospel. This can be quite dangerous! Hence, you can read our disclaimer here plus we advise you putting one at the end of any medical advice you might give! You can also find the link to this post in our Discord channel.
We Need You
