They write:
Each time I send a parcel to someone I love, I tuck a sprig of lavender inside the box.
Unbeknownst to me, this tradition is ancient in its origins. Lavender takes its name from the Latin lavar "to wash," because the ancients used it as a perfume. Our love of lavender seems to be imprinted upon us, profoundly familiar and knowing no boundaries. Just like the ancient Egyptians, we continue to use lavender to scent, anoint, heal and to flavor food.

@trucklife-family gives a whole new perspective on the Alder tree, her birth tree. She pulls us in to the lore and essence inspiring us to connect with these trees which have so much to give. Check out their post here. They write:
I have a strong connection with the Alder Tree, it is my birth Tree and as such a tree that I really identify with. It is also the 3rd Tree in the Celtic Tree Ogham.
When we look to trees for healing, it is important to know the tree, to observe it and to feel the energy of it.

@artemislives gave us some good news and some bad news about the legendary black ginseng, (which I had never heard of before but appreciate learning about). Check out their post here. They write:
It's that one herb that many men have asked me about in whispered tones, over the years, often in a slightly embarrassed way. In my old herbal store, in messages and in emails. Mostly foreigners. Men who have heard it is THE thing. "Do you know where I can get some?" they often whisper.

@artemislives also had another fabulous post "Up Close & Personal with the Lady Juniper" Read it Here
