I Knew You Were Trouble - A Musical Foray

Another Taylor Swift song - she seems to do a lot of songs that are excellent for parodies.

First up... the Original

I Knew You Were Trouble - by Taylor Swift

Interesting song and video - I even looked up the meaning of the song. Very catchy tune and lyrics - sort of her trademark.

Now, onto the parodies - plenty of them to choose from today.

Starting with the video that brought me here today...

I'm Seeing Double - by Farmer Derek Klingenberg

This one is original, cute and well-designed. Farmer Derek is a lot of fun and is clearly having a lot of fun.

I Knew You Were a Muggle - presented by Brooke and Jubal

This is just a studio version without any extra video, but the whole thing is quite cute and a must-listen for Harry Potter fans! (It's amazing to realize it's been 20 years already!)

Creeper Trouble - Minecrafts - by TryHardSista

There were several Minecraft options available today, but I was won over by this one with the good vocals, good song and the Taylor Swift shirt.

Here is the best video of the day:

Gollum Covers Taylor Swift - presented by BuzzFeedVideo

Excellent vocals, great video with good attention to the details of the original. LOTR/Hobbit fans definitely need to watch it!

Today's WTF selection! - One for the Trekkies!

I Knew You Were Tribbles... by Josh Millard

The use of original footage is fabulous, the vocals are good and the song very well thought out. Talk about a whole episode condensed into 3:33!

Bonus selection

I Knew You Were Mormon - presented by LoganDBeck

This one presents the difficulties in falling in love with a guy who's about to serve his mission (usually 2 years long.) I feel some personal experience coming out in this well-done song and video.

That's it for today! I hope you had as much fun as I did!

As usual, I'm simply sharing YouTube videos on a theme, all rights remain with the original.
