Game of Thrones fans know that Daenerys Targaryen and Khal Drogo had a .....complicated relationship. It started off pretty much as bad as it can get BUT.... in the end love conquered all between them.
Some of my favorite interactions between them was when they called each other :
"Yer Jalan Atthirari Anni ("Moon of My Life" in Dothraki)"
And:
"Shekh Ma Shieraki Anni ("My Sun and Stars" in Dothraki)"
These two would love Mene because there would be a number of ways for them to express themselves to each other.
Drogo could give Daenerys these 24 karat gold Luna Earrings, meant to capture the natural wonder of the moon when he called her the “Moon of my life”
Daenerys could give Drogo this 24 karat Star and Crescent pendant when she called him “My Sun and Stars.” The pendant has a moon for her nickname, and a star for his!
Of course either of these two could go the old fashioned route and give each other gifts like this:

Even though this relationship started out pretty bad and had an intense ending (trying not to be a spoiler) these two did have a real love for each that was super awesome.
