Just popped into the local flower market to try to find some chilli plants but there was little on offer but it was a great photo opportunity with all the lovely summer colours now on show from the flowers. Noting motivates me more than finding good chilli plants.
First I had to get past the not very scary scarecrow.
I found some chilli plants but they tasted of nothing, no heat so I didn't buy any. There seems to be a general shortage of chilli plants in my usual spots. I tried a few different markets but found almost nothing and what was there was not good enough for my tastes.
I don't know about you but for me food without a kick of chilli is super dull? What do you think? Life without chilli is like a day without sunshine...tolerable but not ideal.
As I walked around the market the flowers just looked fantastic and out came the smartphone. I really don't care if people stare at me when taking photos of plants. Do what you feel like doing as Bart Simpson says!
This red rose was just a delicious colour.
This white rose was just stunning and the leaves look very sharp and spiky.
I recognise these blue flowers but cannot think of the name of them?
See what I did there red, white and blue and I wasn't even thinking of the symbolism? Wandering around a flower market has got to be one of the most uplifting things to do. Everything is so pretty and full of life.
Hope this motivates you to be bold and have a go at getting some photos in public. Go for it. What's the harm?
Another day at the flower market
