I saw this video on my Facebook feed and found it to be so profound, that I felt I had to share it with everyone I know. This may be considered cut and paste by some, but through this video; privilege is explained in a fantastic way.

Before each of us looks down on the plight and unfortunate situation of those not as fortunate as ourselves, we may wish to reflect on the example demonstrated in this video. How much of our success in life is really due to our own efforts? What type of head start did I have compared with others? What type of economic and family support have I had in my life? These are questions that are worth considering, before judging the situations of others.

The phrase White Privilege is not germane here. I do not care for that phrase/term. There are extremely poor across every demographic. There are homes that have been devastated by poverty, drugs, domestic violence, incest. These issues know no color and play no favorites.

There is a racial problem in this Nation (United States of America), and around the world for that matter. Rabid Nationalism has seized the entire planet. Elitism, selfishness, lack of empathy and greed have become the new moral standard, the perceived path to success.

I have a higher IQ than Rex Tillerson, the Secretary of State of the United States (his is 120 and mine is 130. I know mine because I was tested at the age of 7 while a child inmate in a mental institution, but that is another story).
