Hello, this is my third post and I want to do it about something that recently happened to a family member.
A few days ago, my grandmother who was almost 80 years old, suffered an event at 4 in the morning, it should be noted that she lives in puerto la Cruz Venezuela.
The fact is that she suffered loss of consciousness, she did not react, my aunt tells me that her body is cold and she had a faint breathing, what fright she took away. When I took her to the doctor, the doctor told her about it, it was a syncope. Being far away I worry and investigate a little finding what I summarize briefly below:
There is a presyncope, so we must be attentive to its symptoms because we can confuse it, it begins with dizziness and / or fainting but in this case there is no loss of consciousness as such.
Syncope
It is characterized by a violent loss of consciousness, and is accompanied by a brief loss of muscle tone, the body is motionless, cold, with poor pulse and breathing, then a spontaneous recovery is achieved. In some cases there may be a seizure. This happens because there is not enough oxygenation in the cerebral blood flow and little glucose.
It can occur by:
exercise practice (alarm symptom)
Discussions
Concerns
Emotional situation (stress)
This catches my attention because what the Venezuelan population is really experiencing gives rise to the fact that this can happen to anyone regardless of their age. The worry of having a family outside the country, if you do not have enough money to cover basic needs such as food, can trigger this type of trauma.
It should be noted that it also happens due to cardiac arrhythmias, in the case of my grandmother, despite her advanced age, the doctor diagnoses an emotional situation (worry, stress, nostalgia), so I recommend paying attention to this and taking care of our family, do not lose faith and bear in mind that God allows every circumstance that we pass and that no one can love us more than He, who created us in His image and likeness.
Pay due attention to the following symptoms, if at least two occur very often it would be advisable to go to a doctor:
-sickness
-blurry vision
-fear
-palpitations
-hormigueo on lips and fingers
-baths and fatigue.
I hope you can use this little post.
