Before I got ill, which I wrote about the other day, I had the best job in the world. I was a gardener. I would get up with the sun, pack my pack for kindergarten, drink my coffee, and off to the fresh air. I worked with no nagging humans, only plants, bugs...a cat or a bird here and there. I would dig, plant, cut, water...I loved it. I still love it. I would come home physically tired but psychologically I would be refreshed. Ever since I got sick I was very much bummed about the fact I couldn't work. And now, even tho I am better I am not allowed to work like a gardener.

But in order to eat one must work. So I started to work part-time from home. I write here on Steemit actually so I could fill my budget a bit now that I am on a sick leave, but I also work for my gardening company. I write short texts about the plants and herbs that grow in Dalmatia for a project we have. I also translate them to English. So I decided it would be a great thing to share them with you as I go along.

Each card is divided into few parts: general information, mentions throughout history, use of the plant and a fun fact. I hope you will enjoy reading about them as much as I did researching them and learn something new.
I accompanied this post with some pictures of the gardens I worked in. Enjoy!
