There are many wind turbines in and around Britain and their placement is very important. This part of the UK is as flat as a pancake and the prevailing winds come from Siberia and have no mountains to disrupt them.
This is a great location for a wind farm. This technology has vast potential and we have only just begun to tap the energy of the wind. Our ancestors knew well how to use natural energy. Windmills are an ancient technology and yet some people have yet to fully accept wind turbines?
Today it's #landscapephotography. For Tuesday's @photocontests initiated by @juliank
I took this photograph today (Monday) on a drive across the fens from Chatteris to Somersham. You can see the vast wide open space of the landscape and these two huge man made structures built for harvesting the wind.
