Emi chuckled, "And here's my snow-pen. Both as different and as necessary as we are to each other."

As the year neared its end, Emi and Haruki sensed the universe itself slowing down. It was as if time, nature, and their love found a point of convergence. "This year has been like a rollercoaster, hasn't it?" Emi mused, snuggled against Haruki. "Yes, but every twist and turn made us stronger. Here's to a new year of surprises," Haruki replied, holding Emi tightly as snowflakes danced around them.
