I have had some special experiences on Hive, I must say. Every win on Hive, be it big or small, is special to me. But since I can't write about all these special moments, there is one I must share today. This community is where I found footing on Hive, and I am forever grateful that a place like Theinkwell exists on Hive. Let's dive in.
One of my special experiences on Hive is something that still gives me the courage to keep creating content to this day. It is normal when we get to a place to feel and act like a novice, but it's one thing to explore and get acquainted.
So joining Hive, I was looking for story communities, and then I saw @Theinkwell community and others. I was excited I had found a place to pour out my heart in sharing my life stories. I began joining both the fiction and the non-fiction.
What makes this special and my favorite is that this community opened opportunities for me to connect with other writers, and half of my friends on Hive are from this community. With lots of terrific writers, being among the winners of the prompt always proves difficult.
The favorite moment from my journey was the first day I was featured as one of the winners of the fiction contests. That was least expected as I never dreamed I could come out to be among the winners. I felt like a princess on a horse, that was the greatest encouragement that fueled my zeal to never quit writing.
Apart from that, that recognition gave me a strong conviction I belong to a place I'm recognized. Winning the contests, that sense of belonging to a family, and the relationship with others in the community are what I value so much.
Apart from that, my consistency in crafting a story has given me lots of wins I never expected. Can I ever forget the beautiful contributions, suggestions, and assistance I and other authors receive in the comment section from @theinkwell? There is nothing I cherish more than that, letting me know where I'm doing well and where I'm lagging behind has helped me very well in my overall writing.
Recreating this experience is possible, and the only way for me to do so is by being actively engaged in the community as I have been doing, reading the stories of authors and commenting. By doing this, our bond gets stronger and there would be the opportunity to make new friends and form meaningful connections that would keep impacting my journey on Hive.
