Looking west through one of my favorite trees in my front yard, I was walking under the tree when I saw this composition buried in the larger scene. I love how there snow-covered branches combine to form something like a Fibonacci Eye.
This was more experimental than my typical work, I layered three photos on top of one another and adjusted the opacity to create this composition. Not likely that I’ll be doing this regularly, but I guess sometimes it’s fun to go in a more abstract direction.
And this one’s pretty simple, but if you’ve been tracking my work you’ll already know how much I enjoy capturing textured surfaces like this. The contrast here is I think what grabbed me :)
