Dear Actifitters, today I report to you my last day of temporary work in the glorious Valsesia, the valley of the Sesia river where united Italy originated. Today I had the afternoon shift which started at 11 am but I went to the village where, the school where I work, is at 8:30. I anticipated to stroll through the city streets and photograph something interesting.
As you can see, the houses rest on the Piedmont hills and each building looks like a picturesque historic castle.
Flanking an old line, abandoned due to the frequent economic crises that are slowly wearing down the beautiful country, I found myself in this memorial to the Alpine troops on whose hills the values that inspire the proud and legendary battalion of the Alpine troops are inscribed.
Going back to the entrance of the city there is this statue dedicated to the agricultural sector which, even today, is strongly developed in one of the richest and most prosperous regions of our planet. After this long walk among the picturesque buildings that flank the city streets, my shift began. Last school day of the week was very full of things to do. I couldn't even find the time to regret leaving the students at the school, whose names I was just beginning to learn. The world is in a hurry, they don't have time to think about their feelings. Perhaps if we paused for a while to reflect we could realize that we are going to hit the wall of history at a thousand per hour.
