Today I'm already sitting at my PC with a hot lemon to complete yesterday's report after I saw snow outside and heard about an extreme weather warning the day before yesterday. If you haven't seen the start post, you might like to read it first at Let's go outdoors and reactivate Actifit
The message in the title is of course from 1979 and not from today. Back then, fitness was not yet a thing for me. My parents did that for me, or not. I don't know. How could I know?
And since tomorrow will be yesterday again, I'll leave it at the fact that I've already used my spoon, oil and toothbrush and devote myself to my report from Thursday and then to the weather warning here. Because I wanted to share it with a good friend anyway and hadn't gotten around to it yet.
My beloved spouse told me about a weather channel that predicted extremes, and showed us a newscast from that very January 1979 (title quote at 3:10 mark). For you English speakers, hopefully you can use the A.I. translation.
I don't want to comment on this any further at the moment and will just enjoy the forecast myself. I've already seen part of the news program, and it's worth watching even without the weather. So I've simply linked both here. But I want to leave a weather view for today (yesterday) and the next three days. So here is a third app that provides data.
Now that I've gone through the first video myself, I can say that the old news program isn't mentioned in it. It does mention the winter of 1987, which was another good year. I still remember it. I then found the reference in the video from the previous day by scrolling through it briefly. Anyway, as we all know, we can talk about the weather for a long time. I'll leave it at that and make different use of the time.
I had all sorts of things to do in the afternoon. This included, after the mild weather, putting our big shovel with the short handle back in the vehicle. I also stocked up on some supplies, so little can go wrong over the next few days. In the end, I made a good number of steps again.

Heute sitze ich mit heißer Zitrone bereits am PC, um meinen gestrigen Report zu vervollständigen, nachdem ich draußen Schnee sah und vorgestern von einer Extremwetterwarnung erfuhr. Die Meldung im Titel ist freilich aus dem Jahr 1979 (bei Zeitmarke 3:10) und nicht bereits von heute. Da war an Fitness für mich noch nicht zu denken. Das taten meine Eltern für mich, oder auch nicht. Das weiß ich nicht. Wie könnte ich es wissen?
Und da morgen heute schon wieder gestern sein wird, belasse ich es hier jetzt mal dabei, dass ich Löffel, Öl und Zahnbürste bereits verwendet hatte und widme mich meinem Report von Donnerstag und dann hier der Wetterwarnung. Denn ich wollte sie mit einem guten Freund sowieso schon teilen, und war bisher nicht dazu gekommen.
Mein geliebtes Gespons erzählte mir von einem Wetterkanal, in dem Extreme vorausgesagt wurden, und zeigte uns eine Nachrichtensendung aus eben diesem Januar 1979 (Titel-Zitat bei Zeitmarke 3:10). Für euch englischsprachigen, ihr könnt hoffentlich die K.I. Übersetzung nutzen.
Ich will das hier jetzt noch gar nicht weiter kommentieren, und werde die Vorhersage jetzt selbst erst genießen. Die Nachrichtensendung habe ich zum Teil ja schon gesehen, und auch ohne Wetter ist sie sehenswert. Ich habe beides also nun hier einfach mal verlinkt. Doch eine Wetteransicht für heute (gestern) und die nächsten drei Tage will ich schon mal da lassen. So gibt es hier jetzt eine dritte App, die Daten liefert.
Als ich nun selbst durch bin durchs erste Video, kann ich sagen, dass die alte Nachrichtensendung darin gar nicht erwähnt wird. Erwähnung findet der Winter 1987, was auch ein schönes Jahr war. Ich erinnere mich noch. Gefunden habe ich mittels kurzem Durchblättern den Hinweis dann im Video vom Vortag. Seis drum, über's Wetter lässt sich bekanntlich lange reden. Ich werde es nun dabei belassen und nutze die Zeit anders.
Am Nachmittag hatte ich allerhand Erledingungen. Dazu gehörte auch, dass ich nach dem milden Wetter nun unsere große Schaufel mit dem kurzen Stiel wieder ins Fahrzeug getan hab. Einige Vorräte besorgte ich auch noch, so kann wenig schief gehen die nächsten Tage. So kam ich letztlich wieder auf ordentlich Schritte.
