Podping is completely separate from Lightning. https://podping.org 's front page has some info and links to the other explanations of Podping's parts and workings.
Lightning is used in the Podcasting 2.0 ecosystem as a way of sending streaming payments and boostograms (sats with messages). it's completely separate. Happy to answer specific questions on that.
