Hoy participo en este nuevo reto que trae nuestra amiga @sirenahippie para la comunidad @plantpower (vegan) llamado "Tu compra de verduras". Me gusta comprar verduras, aunque normalmente lo hago en el mercado local porque allí las consigo más baratas, pero por seguridad para participar en estos retos lo hago en supermercados, así que este viernes pasado fui a un supermercado a comprar papas. Gracias a Dios, mi ciudad de Cumaná tiene muchas tiendas que venden este tipo de alimentos, pero siempre tenemos una favorita así que visité una muy conocida que se llama "Automercado Nuevo Prica" personalmente me gusta venir aquí, porque consigo variedad y buenos precios, también me gusta el lugar por su comodidad, es muy amplio y ordenado.

Today I am participating in this new challenge brought by our friend @sirenahippie for the @plantpower (vegan) community called "Your vegetable shopping". I like to buy vegetables, although I usually do it at the local market because I get them cheaper there, but for safety reasons to participate in these challenges I do it in supermarkets, so this past Friday I went to a supermarket to buy potatoes. Thank God, my city of Cumaná has many stores that sell this type of food, but we always have a favorite one so I visited a well known one called "Automercado Nuevo Prica" personally I really like to come here, because I get variety and good prices, I also like the place for its comfort, it is very spacious and neat.

Para mí las papas son muy versátil en la cocina, a los niños le encantan, la podemos consumir en ensaladas, puré, fritas, al vapor, al horno, en pasteles y como sabemos es un gran alimento porque son sanas, nutritivas, posee vitaminas, antioxidantes, proteínas y por eso debemos consumirlas y tenerlas presentes en nuestra dieta diaria, porque su alto contenido en carbohidratos nos llenan de energía.

For me potatoes are very versatile in the kitchen, children love them, we can eat them in salads, mashed, fried, steamed, baked, in cakes and as we know they are a great food because they are healthy, nutritious, have vitamins, antioxidants, proteins and that is why we must consume them and have them present in our daily diet, because their high carbohydrate content fills us with energy.

¿Cómo las elijo? Me gusta que las patatas estén lavadas, muy lisas, sin agujeros, sin manchas y sin color verde, me gustan medianas, esta vez no me gustaron las patatas lavadas porque estaban verdes, así que decidí comprar las patatas sucias y la verdad que pasé mucho tiempo eligiéndolas, pero mereció la pena porque salieron buenas. .

I like the potatoes to be washed, very smooth, no holes, no stains and no green color, I like them medium, this time I didn't like the washed potatoes because they were green, so I decided to buy the dirty potatoes and I really spent a lot of time choosing them, but it was worth it because they came out good.

Aquí los precios están expresados en dólares, en una cartelera, y las papas tienen un precio de 1,15 $ equivalente a 34,61 Bs, te cuento que la diferencia en el mercado es mínima. Yo compre 0,945 kgrs igual a 1,08 $ equivalente a 32, 50 Bs. Para conservarlas si están sucias las lavo muy bien las dejo secar al sol, luego las pongo en una bolsa oscura si es de tela mucho mejor, y las guardo en la bandeja de la nevera.
