Hi vegan lovers, this time I'm back in the vegan shopping edition contest with a chocolate theme. Shopping this time I was treated by one of my friends who live far away the city of Banda Aceh. So he will invite me to look for chocolate in a well-known supermarket in this provincial city. It cannot be denied that chocolate is the best alternative in every cake dish. But it's not just chocolate cake that is your favorite snack, right? Moreover, children really like chocolate, various fruits and other cakes, it is very interesting to have chocolate.
So, on this occasion I am not cooking, but I am inviting you to shop for chocolate at one of the biggest malls in the city of Aceh province, namely Suzuya Supermarket. This supermarket is the main supermarket in my city, and is precisely in the center of Banda Aceh province. Once the supermarket caught fire and closed temporarily, but a year later this large mall was rebuilt in the city center. Apart from that, Suzuya also has branches in other cities, namely the cities of Lhokseumawe and Bireuen, these two cities are the closest to the area where I live. However, this place is not very complete, but here I see that it is very complete with various types of household needs.
Some time ago I came to Banda Aceh, just on holiday with my friend. After seeing the edition for this contest, I also took the initiative to participate in this week's contest. I invited my friend to go out looking for delicious chocolate for vegan shopping this time. He recommended this supermarket because he thought it was one of the most complete chocolates here.
When I arrived here, I'am very surprised to see so many visitors. Well, understandably, at the end of a month like this, lots of people shop for necessities. After shopping for my friend's needs, I invited him to look for a special shelf for chocolate.
To my surprise, the shelves of various kinds of chocolate really made my eyes pop. Wow, this is chocolate heaven.
Various kinds of chocolate are clearly displayed here, from imported chocolate to local chocolate. Just look at how chocolate from brands that we often see in foreign countries is also displayed on this shelf. However, there are so many types of chocolate, I only want to look for vegan chocolate here. And you know how happy I was, when I found vegan chocolate snacks. This chocolate is branded by Van Holten, and has a non-vegan variant too.
Well, Van Holten's vegan chocolate has three flavors, Coconut Almont, Salted Caramel and Almont Beries. This chocolate also has a pretty decent price, per piece IDR 25,200. Because I wanted to snack directly there, I tried buying a chocolate with the salted caramel variant. It turns out the taste is very delicious, like chocolate in general this chocolate also has a sweet taste. It fits perfectly in the mouth and doesn't feel scratchy on the tongue.
After going around looking for a shelf of chocolate. I rushed upstairs and looked for other clothes, but we couldn't find anything suitable. After taking fun photos, we went back down and paid for our groceries at the cashier. And here we queued for quite a long time because there were so many visitors. And I asked my friend to take my picture.
Well, in this area I also found a chocolate snack rack, very full with various flavors. I don't buy it anymore because I won't have time to enjoy the various types of chocolate here. So I decided not to stock up on chocolate, besides, if I want it back I can buy it when I return to my village.
Well friends, here's today's chocolate edition of my vegan shopping trip. I did this activity while out of town on holiday at my friend's house.
This time I didn't stock up on chocolate, so I just looked for chocolate snacks with a vegan variant. Something also happened when I was shopping, I couldn't find cocoa powder like what I usually use when making cakes at this mall. I think this is the worst thing to shop for this edition. I even asked the workers, they said the stock of cocoa powder had run out today. Maybe it's because of the crowds of visitors, ahh, I'm sorry. If the contest this time is not as perfect as possible, but you need to know this is a fun journey.
