Con el paso de los años he aprendido de forma autónoma a manejar un auto, el detalle es que yo solo había tenido la oportunidad de manejar con transmisión automática y no la estándar, Así que de un par de meses para acá le he estado pidiendo a mi hermano @reonfi que me prestara su auto para aprender a manejar en transmisión estándar pidiéndole algunos tips para el momento de estar sin moverme a cambiar a primera velocidad porque siempre se me apagaba.
Over the years, I have taught myself how to drive a car, but the thing is, I had only ever had the opportunity to drive an automatic transmission and not a standard one. So, for the past couple of months, I have been asking my brother @reonfi to lend me his car so I can learn to drive a standard transmission, asking him for some tips on how to shift into first gear without moving, because the car always stalled on me.
Ahora ya después de unos meses practicando, ya me siento con más confianza (aunque aún me da miedo tener que acelerar de 0 en plena subida porque luego siento que el auto se me va para atrás y me da miedo pegarle al auto de atras), pero el día de ayer que mi hermano @gato-raro se iba de viaje y @reonfi andaba en el trabajo, entonces me pidió el favor de irlo a dejar a la central de autobuses para que tomara su camión, además que los jueves le pido de igual forma el auto a mi hermano para que pueda usarlo (y practicar) para ir a donde juego calabozos y dragones.
Now, after a few months of practice, I feel more confident (although I'm still afraid to accelerate from 0 on a hill because I feel like the car is going to roll backwards and I'm afraid of hitting the car behind me). But yesterday, my brother @gato-raro was going on a trip and @reonfi was at work, so he asked me to take him to the bus station so he could catch his bus. On Thursdays, I also ask my brother to lend me his car so I can use it (and practice) to go to the place where I play Dungeons & Dragons.
Así que lo sentí como mi prueba de fuego, porque no solo iba yo manejando, sino que tenía de pasajero a mi novia, a mi hermano, a mi cuñada y a mi sobrina que aún no cumplía el año de edad, por lo que para mí fue una responsabilidad enorme. Al final terminamos llegando sin contratiempos, nunca se me apago el auto y manejé sin ningún problema, pero eso sí, termine muy estresado, pero ya de regreso que solo eramos mi novia y yo pues todo fue mas tranquilo.
So I felt like it was my trial by fire, because not only was I driving, but I also had my girlfriend, my brother, my sister-in-law, and my niece, who was not yet a year old, as passengers, so it was a huge responsibility for me. However, on the way back, it was just my girlfriend and me, so everything was much calmer.
Ya llegando a donde juego Calabozos y Dragones, feo que nos aumentaron el presupuesto, pues si miraron el post donde hable de ello, pues empezamos jugando usando un mapa de cartón y plumones donde poníamos nuestras figuras y ahora, pues ya contamos con una pantalla que nos dibuja el mapa y las criaturas a las que nos enfrentamos
When we got to where I play Dungeons & Dragons, it was a shame that they increased the budget, because if you saw the post where I talked about it, we started playing using a cardboard map and markers where we placed our figures, and now we have a screen that draws the map and the creatures we face.
Sin embargo, lo triste es que ahora faltaron varios de los que juegan con nosotros, por lo que si se resintió en lo que pasaba en la sesión, siendo que ahora tuvimos que poner pausa antes del tiempo que normalmente lo hacemos y acordar de ver si la próxima semana si venían los que faltaron o que mínimo avisaran para así de una vez posponerlo y no ser pocos los que estamos ahí y de ser que sigan faltando, tal vez empezar una nueva campaña con nuevos jugadores.

Yo creo que por el estrés de manejar al final llegue muy cansado a mi casa, pero al final, pues feliz de que cada vez voy mejorando y cada vez me siento con más confianza para usarlo, de hecho, vamos a estar usando el auto para ir haciendo las entregas de productos de mascotas que aún me quedaron de cuando tenía mi local y creo que justo me faltaba agarrar mas confianza al manejar
I think that because of the stress of driving, I ended up arriving home very tired, but in the end, I'm happy that I'm improving and feeling more confident about using it. In fact, we're going to be using the car to deliver pet products that I still have left over from when I had my store, and I think I just needed to gain more confidence in my driving.
