Real or True love has to do with care, respect, admiration, being there no matter what the circumstance is, be truthful to them, help them build themselves back up if they're fall down, help them believe in themselves, encouraging them, be supportive. Not subjecting them to humiliation, constant hurt, taking advantage of them, talking down on them, making them feel worthless, any form of abuse.
You can't say love someone when you don't have their backs, you don't want them to better version of themselves, you don't help them achieve their goals, always talking sh*t about them behind their backs, telling people about their problems and make jokes about it, always belittling them, making feel like they can't do anything right, nothing they do is important to you, you only show consign when it convenient for but they sacrifice their own time for you.

When you truly love someone, you defend their honor even in their absence, always want to see them progress and something more in life, you appreciate them, you make out time to be with them, you love them unconditionally without expecting something in return.
Also you don't let other people disrespect them or call them names or talk sh*t about them behind their backs, telling them the truth even if it will hurt their feeling or make them uncomfortable because what kind of love do you have for them if see them doing something wrong and don't correct them, being their number one fan and supporting them in all they do, helping them believe in themselves even when they don't.

Many mistake real love for sex, attraction, convenience, having a good time, one-sided feeling and infatuation. When someone makes you Happy, make them Happier.
