I am preaching the setting aside 10% of everything that gets into our hands, no matter how small. The world will not stop demanding our money. We have to pay for the food we eat. We have to pay for Transit. We have to pay for clothes, shoes, jewelry, and accessories to look good. We have to pay for everything. We are doing well, making sure we pay everyone but ourselves.
We shouldn't live like that, we won't be successful with wealth-building if we continue to live that. One of my teachers always says with firm conviction, that, when our opportunity meets preparation, success is inevitable.

Yesterday, I wrote about understanding. I told you, a lot of things are beginning to make sense to me, this is one of them.
Recently, I understand that even though I can spot the right market to get in, I may not be able to do so if I don't have the funds. So, I have to prepare. I have to consistently set aside some money for the fortune I am prepared to make.
You'll be successful if you prepare
Success is a wonderful thing, but, one that comes with preparation. On no grounds will you find success if you are not prepared. It is going against nature. Somewhere, somehow, it has to be that you have been sharpening your tools, mending them, preparing them. Without these acts, you are meant to fail, no one is wishing you bad. You are the author of your confusion. So stop getting confused and start planning.
Plan for that success you are seeing. Work towards it. Don't just spend everything. Problems will never finish. Learn to pay yourself first before anyone else, no matter how big your responsibilities are. Choose yourself first, over and over again. The rest of the world will align when you do this.
They will come to the term that you are as important to yourself as they are to you.
What does success mean to you?
For me, finding an opportunity and having the means to act on it is a success. I'll be pained if I don't. I wouldn't forgive myself. I might but gain my lessons. Oh, I already have. I am consciously working on making sure that when opportunity knocks, I'll be prepared to take the saddle and ride into my success.
Do you feel successful in your life?
Yes. No. Yes, I am successful in the sense that I have found a reason to look forward to every day with hopes and strong convictions. I have found the various keys that I need to use for most of my life. I have successfully learned how to deal with people. I have learned how to love and be loved. I have learned what I need to make wealth. These are all avenues of success for me. Knowing that I had no idea in the previous years but this year presents different opportunities is success to me.
No. I haven't had success in the rest of the goals that I have set for myself. This is the reason I am grinding, working hard, improving, establishing this, and that. The major goal is to succeed in all of them. So I spent time preparing.
What should people do to be successful?
One word. Prepare. Nothing more. Proper preparation prevents poor performance, they say, and I agree. It's the only word we humans have to keep close to our hearts. So we will always remember to get ready for anything.
Whether it's wealth you want to build, marriage, start a business, venture into a different career, move away for a fresh start, anything, just prepare, and opportunities will never pass you by.
