Hi HIVEians! I hope you’re doing good. As I explained in this post, I want to share with you my traveling dream, which is to know at least one place in each province of my country Argentina. Today I’m going to tell you a little about a trip I made in the province where I live: Buenos Aires. This trip was to the city of Tandil and I visited the "Moving Stone".
¡Hola amigos de HIVE! ¡Espero que estén bien! Como expliqué en este post, quiero compartir con ustedes mi sueño viajero que es conocer al menos un lugar de todas las provincias de mi país Argentina. Hoy voy a contarles un poco sobre un viaje que hice dentro de la provincia en donde vivo: Buenos Aires. Se trata de un paseo a la ciudad de Tandil y mi visita a la “Piedra Movediza”.
This city is 200 miles away from my home and I must say that I was unaware of the existence of this stone until I was there and saw it with my own eyes. It is a 300-ton stone that was on the edge of a hill ... balancing! Finally in 1912 it fell but a replica was placed to show how it had been supported before the fall. Nature and its occurrences!
To get to the stone we had to walk quite a bit uphill. At that time I was in good physical condition!
Esta ciudad queda a 320 km de mi casa y debo decir que desconocía de la existencia de esta piedra hasta que estuve allí y la vi con mis propios ojos. Se trata de una piedra de 300 toneladas que se mantenía al borde de un cerro... ¡como haciendo equilibrio! Finalmente en 1912 se cayó pero pusieron una réplica en su lugar para mostrar cómo había estado apoyada antes de la caída. ¡La naturaleza y sus ocurrencias!
Para llegar hasta la piedra tuvimos que caminar bastante cuesta arriba. ¡Menos mal que tenía buen estado físico en ese momento!

Buenos Aires is the capital province of Argentina and the city of La Plata is the capital of this province. However, the Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires (CABA) is the most "touristy" area and there is a greater movement of people. If you ever come as tourists, you’re more likely to end up staying in CABA than in the city of La Plata... Keep that in mind.
The most characteristic monument of the Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires is the obelisk. If you come, don't forget to have your picture taken there!
Buenos Aires es la provincia capital del país y a su vez, la ciudad de La Plata es la capital de esta provincia. Sin embargo, la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires (CABA), es la zona más “turística” y hay mayor cantidad de movimiento de gente. Si alguna vez vienen como turistas es más probable que terminen hospedados en CABA que en la ciudad de La Plata… Ténganlo en cuenta.
El monumento más característico de la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires es el obelisco. Si vienen, ¡no olviden sacarse una foto ahí!

Both La Plata city and the Ciudad Autónoma are 20 miles away from my home and they have a lot of beautiful places that I have visited. I did countless rides using only public transport. I also visited several beaches on the Buenos Aires coast, during the summer and winter for the typical vacations… I know quite a few places in this province because… I live in it!
Tanto la ciudad de La Plata como La Ciudad Autónoma quedan a 30 km de mi casa y tienen un montón de lugares lindos que he visitado. Hice innumerables paseos solamente utilizando transporte público. También visité varias playas de la costa bonaerense, durante el verano y el invierno para las típicas vacaciones… Conozco bastantes lugares de esta provincia porque… ¡vivo en ella!
