One of the first things I did when I opened this blog a year and a half ago was to create a section called "My #travelgoal" where I told my traveling dream, which is to know at least a site of the 23 provinces of my country Argentina. When I made the last post in this series, in November of last year, I had reached the province # 9, Misiones , telling you about trips I had made until then. Now, with the flexibility of tourism and my Hive blog, I'm very happy to be able to share my destination in province #10: "El Infiernillo" in the province of Tucumán ❤️.
Una de las primeras cosas que hice cuando abrí este blog hace un año y medio atrás fue crear una sección llamada "Mi #travelgoal" en donde contaba mi sueño viajero, que es conocer al menos un sitio de las 23 provincias de mi país Argentina. Cuando hice el último post de esta serie, en noviembre del año pasado, había llegado a la provincia #9, Misiones, contandoles sobre viajes que había hecho hasta entonces. Ahora, con la flexibilización del turismo y mi blog de Hive, estoy muy feliz de poder compartir mi destino en la provincia #10: parador El Infiernillo en la provincia de Tucumán ❤️.
After a journey of around 20 hours by bus, we arrived very early in the province of Tucumán. We have breakfast in the small town of Tafí del Valle and then we leave for our next stop. This type of travel package takes you a while to each place: there is not much time to rest, just go and go. That's fine by me, it's just what I wanted ❤️.
Luego de un viaje de alrededor de 20 horas en micro, llegamos muy temprano a la provincia de Tucumán. Desayunamos en el pequeño pueblo de Tafí del Valle y luego partimos rumbo a nuestra siguiente parada. Este tipo de paquetes de viaje te lleva un rato a cada lugar: no hay mucho tiempo para descansar, solo recorrer y recorrer. Eso está bien para mí, es justo lo que quería ❤️.

By then we were already surrounded by mountainous area. I could already feel the height in my plugged ears: although I was chewing some gum as a precaution, this did not prevent the effects of the mountain 😂.
Para entonces ya estábamos rodeados de zona montañosa. Ya podía notar la altura en mis oídos tapados: a pesar de que estuve mascando algo de chicle como precaución, esto no evitó los efectos de la montaña 😂.
While we were going to that place we were discussing the origin of the name "El Infiernillo" (little hell). It turns out that there were several theories: some said that this name arose because of the heat it makes being so high and close to the sun, others because getting there represents a real hell for being so far away and finally a last theory that combines the heat that is resembles that of hell.
Mientras nos dirigíamos hasta ese lugar íbamos discutiendo el origen del nombre "El Infiernillo" (pequeño infierno). Resulta que habían varias teorías: algunos decían que este nombre surgió por el calor que hace al estar tan alto y cerca del sol, otros porque llegar hasta allí representa un verdadero infierno por estar tan alejados y finalmente una última teoría que combina el calor que se asemeja al del infierno.
The truth is that at the time we arrived, hell was a bit cold: there was a lot of wind, so much so that I regretted not taking my coat off the bus. The sign indicated that we were more than 3000 meters above sea level, I had to assume that it was not going to be so hot 😂.
Lo cierto es que en ese momento que llegamos el infierno estaba un poco frío: había un montón de viento, tanto que me arrepentí de no haber bajado mi abrigo del micro. El cartel indicaba que nos encontrábamos a más de 3000 metros sobre el nivel del mar, debí suponer que no iba a hacer tanto calor.😂.
This place was a parador for travelers with a panoramic viewpoint towards the mountains. At that time there were few people, perhaps it was not even 11 in the morning, which allowed us to comfortably enjoy it.
Este lugar era un parador para viajeros con un mirador panorámico hacia las montañas. En ese momento habían pocas personas, quizás no eran ni las 11 de la mañana, lo que nos permitió disfrutarlo cómodamente.

There was also a replica of the famous "little house of Tucumán". This house in this province is famous because the independence of our country was signed there in 1816. During this trip we did not go to see the real house, but at least I could see an imitation passing by 😂.
También había una réplica de la famosa "casita de Tucumán". Esta casa en esta provincia es famosa porque allí se firmó la independencia de nuestro país en el año 1816. Durante este viaje no fuimos a ver la verdadera casa, pero al menos pude ver una imitación al pasar 😂.
There was also a small fair where they sold crafts in the northern style. By this style I mean ceramic utensils, colorful items, honeys and medicinal preparations. I'm not a big fan of souvenirs, so I only bought a small keychain with the image of a llama 😅.
También había una pequeña feria en donde vendían artesanías al estilo norteño. Con este estilo me refiero a utensilios de cerámica, elementos coloridos, mieles y preparados medicinales. No soy gran fanática de los souvenirs, por lo que solo me compré un pequeño llavero con la imagen de una llama 😅.

But without a doubt, the main attraction of the place was a friendly llama that was there. I say nice because she really seemed like she was laughing and apparently she was used to people, since it seemed that she even posed for the photo 😄.
Pero sin dudas, la principal atracción del lugar era una simpática llama que se encontraba allí. Digo simpática porque de verdad parecía que se reía y aparentemente estaba acostumbrada a la gente, ya que parecía que incluso posaba para la foto 😄.

Although he seemed very friendly, I didn't want to be too close because he intimidated me a bit. He was almost my height, I had never been so close to an animal like that and I did not want to be surprised 😂.
Aunque parecía muy amigable, yo no quise estar muy cerca porque me intimidaba un poco. Tenía casi mi altura, nunca había estado tan cerca de un animal como ese y no quería llevarme ninguna sorpresa 😂.

Beyond there was also a baby llama. This one was cuter but just as friendly. Later from the bus we saw a large family of llamas in the mountains, surely they came from there ❤️.
Más allá también había una llamita bebé. Esta era más tierna pero igual de amigable. Más tarde desde el bus vimos en las montañas una gran familia de llamas, seguramente de allí provenían ellas ❤️.
We will have been there for about an hour. Despite the sun, the wind was quite annoying but that did not prevent us from admiring the landscape ❤️.
Habremos estado allí alrededor de una hora. A pesar del sol, el viento era bastante molesto pero eso no nos impedia admirar el paisaje ❤️.

It was barely past noon and we had already seen a lot of incredible scenery. My partner Irma and I were enjoying it a lot: she had not been to the north of our country before either. This was a good thing since the two of us were surprised by everything we saw 💕. And we still didn't know everything we had to keep seeing. In the meantime, I was happy to have taken another step towards fulfilling my traveling goal 😄.
Apenas había pasado el mediodía y ya habíamos visto un montón de paisajes increíbles. Mi compañera Irma y yo lo estábamos disfrutando mucho: ella tampoco había estado antes en el norte de nuestro país. Esto fue algo bueno ya que las dos nos ibamos sorprendiendo de cada cosa que veíamos 💕. Y aún no sabíamos todo lo que teníamos que seguir viendo. Mientras tanto, yo estaba feliz de haber dado un paso más en el cumplimiento de mi objetivo viajero 😄.
