I have a bit hectic Wednesday, We have suffered several fluctuations in the electrical service, but luckily, we still have electricity, one in #Venezuela is happy when there is service, even if it is a very bad service, because that is better than not having the service at all. I am already on day 740 since it was announced in this country that we would enter a #quarantine due to the #COVID-19 #pandemic, I never imagined that we would spend two years and continue in this mess, really the effects that this has had and the ones that it will continue to have are things that I cannot finish calculating.
Thanks to my brother, @soltecno, I found out about a video game anniversary that is good to remember in today's #history: Today is the 17th anniversary of the release of God of War on the PS2 console. The game is dash & slash style, but with a story that I find very attractive, #GodOfWar follows a plot of revenge, fall, madness, war and destruction, but also redemption, a deep desire to atone for guilt and of being able to return favors and grudges, thus, a simple and bloody revenge is not carried out, but at the end of the Greek saga it is also pursued to carry out a just payment for the actions of the gods, so that no work is left without their payment.
In my case, I followed the #game and its plot thanks to the videos shared by players from the different platforms on which the 8 games in the saga were produced, I did not play it personally, in part because I know myself, my hand-eye coordination and my reaction speed is very slow, so this style of games might seem exciting to me, but I know my hands wouldn't keep up, and it would be more frustrating than satisfying, so I'm a game watcher, but not a play them in person, I think the term for that is something like those who like football and cheer on teams, but don't play or run around a field without falling flat on their face in the first few minutes :)
I am going to leave this publication short, because it is lucky that I can write, and I should not abuse it, soon it is likely that I will be left without a signal or without electricity, so you have to do what you can while it is possible to do it. Tengo un miércoles un poco agitado, Hemos sufrido varias fluctuaciones en el servicio eléctrico, pero por suerte, aún tenemos electricidad, uno en #Venezuela se alegra cuando hay servicio, incluso si es un muy mal servicio, porque eso es mejor que no tener el servicio en absoluto. Ya estoy en el día 740 desde que se anunció en este país que entraríamos en una #Cuarentena por la #pandemia de #Covid19, nunca me imaginé que pasaríamos dos años y seguiríamos en este lío, de verdad que los efectos que esto ha tenido y los que va a seguir teniendo son cosas que no puedo terminar de calcular.
Gracias a mi hermano, @soltecno, me enteré de una efemérides de videojuegos que es buena para recordarla en la #historia de hoy: Hoy es el aniversario 17 del lanzamiento de God of War en la consola PS2. El juego es de un estilo dash&slash, pero con una historia que me resulta muy atractiva, #GodOfWar sigue una trama de venganza, de caída, de locura, guerra y destrucción, pero también de redención, de un profundo deseo de expiar las culpas y de lograr devolver favores y rencores, así, no se lleva a cabo una simple y sangrienta venganza, sino que también se persigue al final de la saga griega llevar a cabo un justo pago por las acciones de los dioses, que ninguna obra quede sin su pago.
En mi caso, el #juego y su trama lo seguí gracias a los videos compartidos por jugadores de las distintas plataformas en que se produjeron los 8 juegos de la saga, yo no lo jugué personalmente, en parte porque me conozco, mi coordinación óculo manual y mi velocidad de reacción es muy baja, así que este estilo de juegos puede parecerme apasionante, pero sé que mis manos no lograrían seguir el paso y me resultaría más frustrante que satisfactorio, así que soy un aficionado a ver los juegos, pero no a jugarlos en persona, creo que el término para eso es algo parecido a los que les gusta el futbol y animan a los equipos, pero no juegan ni son capaces de correr en un campo sin caer de bruces en los primeros minutos :)
Esta publicación la voy a dejar corta, porque ya es una suerte que pueda escribir y no debo abusar, en breve es probable que me quede sin señal o sin electricidad, así que hay que hacer lo que se puede mientras es posible hacerlo. Te deseo que estés bien y que nos podamos leer en otra oportunidad.
