Fungi Friday - Xylaria hipoksilon

This is my contribution to #FungiFriday by @ewkaw

Hello Everyone..

How are you mushroom hunters and lovers in this fungifriday community? I hope of course we are all in good health and able to carry out all activities without any obstacles.

And in today's post I again share some photos of deer antler mushrooms. that's the popular name for this type of mushroom because it looks like a deer's antler. While the scientific name of this mushroom is Xylaria hypoxylon from the Xylariaceae family.

This fungus can be found in forests or plantation areas where there are rotten plant stems. Like me, I got this fungus on rotten betel nut stems in a plantation area belonging to a resident of Serba Jaman Tunong village, Tanah Luas, North Aceh, Indonesia.

Below I have uploaded some photos of the mushrooms I mean, I hope you are interested and like them.
