DIY Hydroponic Rig: 1 Week Later

It’s been about a week, and the results are varied from downright impressive, to…is it dying?

The shallots and garlic did really well, although the garlic had pretty significant variations among its peers. This may be because my setup is rough, so the depth at different points on the mesh varies. Or it could just be that some garlic cloves are more ready than others I guess. Any ideas?

Anyway, that’s it for today. I put a bunch of shallots and garlic in the ground at the same time as we set this up. I think soon I’ll move these over to join them, and we can compare the growth in the two groups over time.

Thanks for checking out some more of my work! As always, I hope you enjoyed witnessing as much as I enjoyed creating!
