Hello friends,
Going to week 4 of the healthy cooking competition, I really want to use mango as the main ingredient in my salad today. Because mango belongs to the group of yellow foods which is rich in vitamin A and beta carotene. It is known to supply many good benefits for our bodies. Approximately 25 percent of the daily vitamin A requirement is provided by a plate of mango. Mangos contain vitamin A, which brightens our eyes, so eating them regularly can prevent night blindness, refractive errors in the eyes, dry eyes, and keratitis. Besides the benefits for the eyes, mango also helps to prevent cancer, treat diabetes and good for the skin. Also, the vitamin C in the mango can bring many benefits for people with anemia.
In this salad, I also use tomatoes which is known as containing roughly 20 nutrients, including vitamins A, C, and K, which contribute to maintaining bodily functions, including eye health, immunity, and repair and regeneration. And really can not lack of salad which supplies the fiber source to our bodies.
To make this salad, I will use three types of fruits to mix and this amount can be for 2 people.
1 mango
1 guava
1 tomato
1 tsp of honey
2 tbsp of yogurt
don't forget our lettuce.

Step 1: I will cut the mango, guava, and tomato into small cubes and same size. Mango might be thicker because I want to prevent it from losing the form of a cube because I use the ripe one.

The mango is really sweet, I don't know if you ever heard about eating good fruits easily causing acne. But there is research that eating mango can help to minimize skin pores. But based on its benefit and the nutrient in the fruits, it's not only good for our skin but also your health.

Step 2: I put all of the fruits into a bowl and add on honey and yogurt. I used the aloe vera yogurt which is a bit sweeter than the original yogurt. However, I think it lighted up the flavor of all the fruits and salad. I can feel the honey clearly and each of the fruits separately.

Step 3: I put it on a plate and I think it will be nice as a light meal and in my break time.
