I sat staring at the house I grew up in. Memories of the numerous performances I offered to the world were captured by the audience within these walls. The majestic drapery and decorated walls seemed like a fantasy. But the mot important were the inviting stairs. They beckoned me to advance, then propelled upward until I floated on my desire. Sometimes, when I wake, I realize desire is not enough. I should know. I had an abundance. What I didn't have was the ability to accomplish my desires. My thoughts that commanded my hands to record and my body to respond didn't connect. You see, I needed to document my moves first. Otherwise, my brain wouldn't tell my body what to do.
I quickly sketched the background of the stage. I needed flashes of color. The set designer looked intently at my drawing. I could tell he didn't approve. However, he was given the signal to appease me.

I knew he didn't see the imagery behind the colored dots. How could he? They represented my movements on stage.
The point where I glide would be the finale before I fall into the cocoon that is my bondage.
In my mind, I can still see the dots leading me back and forth in the dance that is my spirit, despite being confined to a wheelchair.

The design of my full fractal in Apophysis 2.09, a fractal rendering program, for the Ballerina was a surprise. I say this because I didn't know what to expect when the tornado, as I call it, appeared. A figure emerged that looked like a lady with her head bent. She wore a pink outfit. The motion seemed as if she were posing. I immediately thought of a ballerina as I examined the images toward the bottom. Looked like ballerina shoes. From there my story took shape. All that was now needed was a stage for her to perform.
I utilized the following fractal images, together with the important background stage, which I designed in Bomomo, an abstract art program. The colors turned out beautifully with the arrays of blues, purple, and green.
