Usually Heide loves to listen on full blast when riding by herself. But that day, she adjusted the volume on her car's XM Radio to low. Transmission of the singer's words were choppy. Instinctively, she looked at the dark, circling clouds beginning to form. That's it, she reasoned. But strangely, the sky was clear, and the sun shone brightly.
In the distance, Heide could see advancing in her direction a gigantic ball-life figure. It looked like a hot air balloon with various colors. She slowed, then pulled over to the right side of the highway. With only two lanes, she wanted to make sure that, whatever the strange object in the middle of the road was, her car wouldn't be suffer damage.
The close the object came, the louder the radio transmitted unusual sounds to the point of a screeching voice.
Suddenly, the ball burst, and a green substance poured forth onto the highway and surrounding fields.
Heide's head jerked in all directions. Her first thought was to find shelter. None was in sight. She could only attempt to turn the car around and head back the way she came.
Upon cranking the engine, the only sound she heard was the screeching noise and vibrations. Dead and of no use, she thought as she frantically kept trying.
Hands shaking, she gave up and reached for her backpack.
She alternated between watching the ball, that had now become a gigantic blob, and searching for her sports shoes.
The blob emitted green, violet, and maroon pulsating waves in the air that left a trail. In its midst was a flurry of wings flapping as huge moths or butterflies flew out of its center in all directions. She couldn't understand the connection to the sound and the insects.
The sky now darkened, she knew she must hurry. Her thoughts of family, her life, her future all rolled into one thought.
Run as fast as she could to safety.
This fractal art project evoked an unusual story while designing the different full fractal art pieces in Apophysis 2.09. This program is a fractal rendering software that is open sourced. I utilized Canva to compile and blend all fractals. Once I blended all fractals, it certainly did look like some type of frequency or signals being transmitted.
