Tonight Debbie and I went to a retirement party for one of her co-workers, Mitch. She made reservations for 20 people last week when the temps were in the 90's. Well today it was rainy and windy, with temps in the low 50's. Mitch ended up inviting his family and about 35 people showed up for his party. With the extra people, the party ended up being on the enclosed patio and the heaters were working overtime. It was somewhat comfortable, but when the wind blew through the plastic sheeting the patrons were shivering. That may have been the plan all along because the liquor was flowing freely. I doubt that anybody felt cold, once the consuming of tequila shots started. Tommorow is Mitch's last day after 37 years with the same company, something you hardly ever see now. I hope he can wake up! 🥂🍻
