And Here for more information of the parade.

Every year, there is a National Parade to mark and celebrate Singapore’s Independence in 1965.

Basically, there is the flypast of the National flag, and the march pass of the various uniform groups and floats, followed by songs and dance of stories of nation building The finale will be the fireworks. The Parade is very popular with the citizens. Tickets to the parade were snatched up in no time. It is hearty to know Singaporeans are so patriotic, or maybe they just enjoy a parade. Anyway, on this day, and for the rest of this month, all over Singapore, all estates and communities will have their own celebrations.
