So, I am going off to Malacca for a short trip – three days and two nights, with some friends of mine. We leave on Friday, and we will be back on Sunday.
Malacca is one of thirteen states of Malaysia, and one of eleven states of the Malay peninsula north of Singapore. It is about two and a half hours drive from Singapore. We are not driving there though. We are going on a tour bus.
There are eight of us. We rented a villa, so we will all be together for three days and two nights. We will see whether we are still friends after the trip, or if someone went missing during the trip. It would be fun.
Malacca is a UNESCO world heritage site with a rich trading history and multicultural heritage. As such, it is known as the unofficial historical state of Malaysia. This is my first time there, so I don’t really know what to expect. I am keeping an open mind. We shall see. I will report more on Malacca after I am back.
