EpicDice is by far the most lucrative investment opportunity I've seen on STEEM so far. Including selling votes. Not only can you earn through gambling, you can earn as a token holder as well. You have seen the concept before...

EpicDice is different from things you've seen in the past though, and I'm here to tell you all about it.
This article includes my ref-link, so feel free to use that link whenever you are ready to grab your first couple of tokens. :)
The official EpicDice token is called EPC. You get 100 EPC per 1 STEEM wagered at the time I'm writing this. We have just passed 5% distributed tokens and each halving is set to occur for each 10% distributed. So we have another ~5% to go before the first halving.
You can also buy and/or sell EPC on Steem-engine, but that's not all, you can also gamble with EPC and be paid in STEEM in a winning scenario. More on this further down.
While that could've been enough options to earn EPC tokens, you can earn EPC by resteeming EpicDice articles. For example: Earn EPC By Writing Articles and you can also earn EPC through delegations and by writing articles about them!
Every 1 SP delegation earns 2 EPC daily. It takes one day for the delegation to be effective in order to receive the dividend from the moment of delegation.
In terms of gambling and how to approach any gambling dApp, I strongly advise you to never gamble for more than you can afford to lose. The "system" or "approach" you use may or may not matter.
The Martingale betting system is popular and frequently used by dozens of gamblers, and others are placing bets with extremely low winning probability. Remember to find your own betting style.
While every token holder wants to earn a hefty amount of STEEM each day, that is not very likely to happen. This is gambling after all and even though many are familiar with the saying: "the house always win", the house is not profitable each day. This basically means that token holders, no matter the quantity of tokens they hold, will not receive any dividends upon days when the house is at loss.
You can easily see all the details, 24/7 on EpicDice. Just look at the "opening balance" versus the "house daily profits" and/or "closing balance" and you'll be able to see all the details in real time.
Also, note that EpicDice has paid out almost 20K STEEM in dividends so far, with a distribution of only 5%. If you want to compare those numbers with something, I would recommend taking a look at kryptogamers and their 24.96% distribution rate. (At the moment I'm writing this, KG has paid 27369 STEEM in total).
This is also the reason for my title and that I am extremely excited with EpicDice, from an investors perspective. I might not get dividends on a daily basis and the dividends might vary, but there is no doubt that I will earn far more in the long haul, judging by the distribution rate.
On top of that, there is no staking tokens to be eligible dividends on EpicDice and dividends will be paid out automatically so you will never have to claim them manually. That's a real set and forget system!
Note: You can send EPC tokens on Steem-Engine to accounts that have never made a bet, and that account will be eligible dividends directly.
As I mentioned earlier, you can bet EPC and win STEEM. 100K EPC is worth 1.126 STEEM at the time I'm writing this. I will show you an example to give you more details:
If you place a bet of 100K EPC you will get 2.252 STEEM, if you win on a 50/50 bet. You will also get back 95% of your tokens, so in this example, you will get 95K EPC and 2.252 STEEM in a winning scenario.
The remaining 5% of the tokens are being burned. You can think of "burning" as deleting tokens, which have a direct impact on the total supply of EPC. In a losing scenario, 100% of the tokens are being burned.
That being said, you can only bet EPC tokens when there is money in the prize pool.

The short explanation is that 3 STEEM will be added to that prize pool each hour, and Epic Bombs and Epic Nukes can & will add larger amounts to the prize pool in case EpicDice decides to launch any of those. EpicBomb is worth 20 STEEM and EpicNuke 100 STEEM.

EpicDice recently launched their first Airdrop and they have recently added Steemconnect, so you can login to the site using either Steemconnect or Keychain now which is awesome. However, news wouldn't be news without something really cool or shall we say epic to reveal...

We don't have any more details on it as the team has been working hard behind closed doors, but I was right about the Airdrop when I publicly talked about that, so I am positive that we will see a new cool game shortly!
