What a Wonderful World es una canci贸n jazz de Louis Armstrong el tema naci贸 en 1967, como una respuesta a los turbulentos a帽os 60 que vivi贸 Estados Unidos. Era un canto a la esperanza. En pleno desarrollo de la guerra de Vietnam, a la que la Casa Blanca sumi贸 a un pueblo que todav铆a no hab铆a olvidado la Segunda Guerra Mundial y la posterior contienda de Corea.
El tema nos habla de la importancia de valorar las cosas insignificantes, aquellas con las que tropezamos en nuestro devenir diario. El optimismo impregna cada uno de los versos, con la esperanza de alcanzar un futuro mejor para los beb茅s que nacen cada jornada. Un tema cl谩sico que nos hace ver que nunca todo esta perdido y que la esperanza siempre esta ah铆.
Sab铆as que en 1987 la canci贸n form贸 parte de la banda sonora de la pel铆cula Good Morning, Vietnam. Desde entonces es un himno al bienestar de la persona, por lo que es constantemente elegida por otros artistas para versionarla.
