It has been quite an interesting couple of weeks since the Spring Equinox, and I have felt a lot of direction change in my world. Starting on the Equinox itself I was hit with what ended up being about a 10-day illness that kept me in bed for the most part, and of course that was during the key push time for Be Empowered, and now here we are.
Yesterday I had to announce that Be Empowered was cancelled, and while it sucks to have just poured hundreds of hours into something for it to completely flop, it also feels like a bit of a relief, because while I was excited for that end goal, I got very little excitement or enjoyment out of the work itself, and that is the most important piece!

The part of preparing for the event that was most enjoyable was by far doing some interviews with the speakers, and I'm rolling that excitement forward into my podcast, @philosofusion, which I've been "getting ready to launch" for a few years now. I've got a few folks who want to support what I'm doing, like @Flauwy who has offered to help build the site, @Juxley who is hosting it, and @innerverse who is helping show me the ropes. I'm ready, I'm supported, and I'm going full-steem ahead!
I also had a job interview on Monday, at a local vegan, gluten-free food cart, and I feel pretty good about it. I'll hear back this weekend most likely, and with any luck that will be the first big step towards a more structured & consistent life for a while :-)
