Weekend trip to Córdoba!
Today I am going to show you a video I made couple month ago when I started filming my travels.
At the 30 November and 1 December 2018 was the G20 Buenos Aires summit, a meeting of the 20 most important people in the world. It was the first one in South America in Buenos Aires.
So for security reasons they closed all the roads within the centre, they shut down public transportation and the security was crazy. Policeman everywhere you can see.
Since I lived within this area I had to do something and took this opportunity to visit Cordoba, one of the 3 biggest cities in Argentina. Cordoba has around 1.3 million Inhabitants.
Cordoba is known for its architecture from the Spanish colonial era. It also has one of the most important university’s in Argentina. The City is full of students and young people what makes it an amazing party place.
How to get there?
You can fly directly to the Cordoba Airport or take a bus from Buenos Aires that takes around 7 hours. I took a night bus, so I slept almost through the whole ride! Since this countries are so big, buses are an often used transportation. It is normally much cheaper than flying in.
I stayed at a hostel near the centre of the city in a shared room with 6 beds. With its restaurants, bars, churches and university’s it has a lot to offer. If you have time also check out the surrounding areas in the Provinz of Cordoba which offers a lot of outdoor activities.
