Trying to maintain the peace by avoiding conflict at all costs will only erode it. Tell people the truth in a loving way, even if it will hurt them because the truth always hurts, but it will always heal us from within.
When people receive Jesus, the Prince of Peace, there is peace!
LORD, help me to stand up for what is right regardless of the odds, to defend myself and others against encroaching evil. Teach me to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with you.
