So this was another deal that I got from my favorite store called, Curry's. Well right here I have a 5 pound 4 percent fat cottage cheese for $1.49. Well, that is equal to $0.298 a pound. That is a really good deal.
Now of course, the price is low, because this product is close to date, but not after date. Well, I can live with that. I usually consume these products before the date is up.
Well, with inflation and the high cost of food, I go to this store that seems to be kind of hid from view. No, it is not on some main street where the rent is so high that it's rental cost is partly passed on to the consumer food cost. No it is in the middle of nowhere.
So the store is even next to a field. Well, I like it better that way. I don't want everyone to go to that store or all the deals would be wiped out in a matter of hours.
Also this store does have deals, but the really great deals do not happen all the time, like this 5 pound container of cottage cheese for $1.49.
It is mine and my mom's favorite place to go shopping at, but we do go to other stores to buy food. We wouldn't even know that this store even existed, if we were not told about it.
I don't see any advertising of it at all, except if you visit their website. But other than that, maybe just my blogs.
How we even found out about this place was that I was taking my mom to visit her friends in another city that mom used to live next door to, well I used to live there too when I was young.
Anyway, the couple that lives there told us of this store, where there were some pretty good deals sometimes. The wife said to make sure to check the date. Well, yes we always check the date, but if the date is close and I save some money then I am OK with that.
I mean, if the food tastes good and it is what you want then, this is a pretty good store. I always go back to this store as I just want to see the deals for that day.
So anyway, today before I wrote this, I was thinking what can I write about now? It was hot and I wanted something cool. Then I thought about the cool cottage cheese in my refrigerator.
I thought, I could just take a picture of the cottage cheese and write about it. By the way this cottage cheese is really creamy and I do like eating it. I hope Curry's has more of it the next time I visit them.
