Bitcoin price raised big from the beginning of the month and now is around $5000.
Why pumped? It is said because the trading algorithm caught the signal to buy BTC from the fake news for April Fool that reported BTC ETF has been approved by SEC. And also the short covering happened which the short sellers had to loss-cut their positions. Then the market exploded with the significant volume.
What a story!!
It is also said Bitmex, the largest exchange for leverage traders, had total of USD500M to liquidate the short positions.
Hard to say that the bear is over but I hope we can find the evidence of the trend change shortly.

月初からBitcoinが暴騰し現在も55万円前後を推移していますが、原因はエイプリルフールのフェイクニュースでBitcoin ETFが承認されたという記事に反応して、自動トレードのアルゴリズムが大きな買いを入れた結果、空売りのショートカバーが入ってロスカットされたのも相まってボリュームを伴った大相場になったそうです。
ほんとかいな！？と思ってしまう冗談のようなストーリーでした。
100倍トレードができるBitmexという取引所だけでも500億円（11万BTC!!）の空売りの強制決済があったそうです。
そんなことが背景にあるのでこれからも相場が大きく上に振れるかわかりませんが、雰囲気がよくなるといいですね。
