Easy answer to this question, in fact there are two answers: winter is not winter, it is like a beautiful autumn and the second reason is my wife. She is a traveler and a walker and does not let me stay at home. I have to walk at least 5 km a day, I am not always excited about it but I understand how beneficial it is for health!
Sunday morning was enough to look out the window to know what we were going to do ... a walk, necessarily a walk but with a target. A coffee and a cake at one of the best confectioners in Bucharest, the confectionery Maria.
This confectionery is located beyond the largest park in Bucharest, Herastrau Park (last year the name of the park was changed to King Mihai Park but I have not yet been used to this change). This positioning of the confectionery obliges us to cross the park and this fact makes us combine the useful with the pleasant.
I try to stay away from sweets but my wife is a profiteroles fan. The best profiteroles in town.
I thank myself for a coffee. If I drink good coffee then the day is beautiful for me. The first part of the day I spent it at the confectionery, I ate and drank everything. Christmas is approaching and the decorations are preparing us for this.

Spring weather, totally unusual for this month, is ideal for a walk. Many people in the alleyways of the park, everyone is walking as if in fear that the snow might start the next day. But the forecasts ensure that this year we will not see snow in the city, only in the mountains. However, capricious weather can always shake and laugh at us.
Lake! The park surrounds the lake. I like the lake, I like the water. A walk around the lake would be about four kilometers. I have traveled this distance many times and I have been twice the advantage. I admired the beauty of the lake and the landscape and took the necessary steps, the minimum distance for health.
On the opposite side of the lake and the park are several buildings, the old and the new. Representative for two eras. Communist, a copy building after Lomonosov University in Moscow, built as soon as the Communists took power in Romania, in the early 50s. Then three office buildings, built in recent years (when communism became just a memory).
Lake. Some are walking, others are fishing! Under the water there are big and beautiful carp but they don't really want to go out. Fishermen try, insist ...
