Basel city is located in the northwest of Switzerland not far from the borders to France and Germany, a beautiful city with three countries easy to visit. Together with the central Brücke, the cathedral is probably Basel's most famous landmark. With its red sandstone, colourful bricks and two slender towers, it is hard to imagine the city skyline without it.
