After facing "The Devil" in our last chapter of our "journey of the fool" sometimes also referred to as "the journey of the hero" in the Temple of the Secrets, we are still not safe.
Even if we managed to avoid Lucifer's traps, now, all of a sudden a flash of lighting strikes...
A sudden and unexpected end in contrast to the natural end because the time was ripe, with the card "XIII - Death".
Here we have a sudden interruption. Accidents, disasters, illness, suffering. All the things we are afraid of, suddenly and unexpectedly come into our lives here..
In retrospect however, this situation can also be perceived as a liberation and is therefore also called "the freeing from prison". In life, we often create many things and circumstances around us, which are to create stability and safety. But sometimes one exaggerates it a bit and eventually locks oneself up completely in a solid crust. That is when the lightning strikes and shreds the walls with noise! When the smoke of the explosion is gone and we have calmed down again, we can see what a beautiful flowering meadow we are actually sitting on...
