The sculpture in ancient Greece was created as a strict style and its peak was experienced in the fifth century BC, when Miron, Fidija and Poliklet were the main sculptors. We learn most about their works from the books of Greek writers, since their original works have not been preserved.
Unlike this stage of sculpture development, in the fourth century before the new era began to work on masses, contrasts, light / dark ratio. In that classical age, the most notable representative is Skopas.
In general, the art of the whole ancient Greece, regardless of the type of art, originated from the 9th century to the 1st century.
The sculptures of ancient Greece tell us about the progress of civilization, increasing people's knowledge and therefore their progress.
Sculpting and sculpting work are one of the oldest types of art, however, even today, this art is not neglected and there is a strong desire for young people to learn about something about it.
As you already know, lately this is one of my favorite topics, so I hope I do not exaggerate and I do not bother you with these stories.
As I told you in one of the previous posts, here I will also tell you a little more about the sculptures and the one of the main themes of the Greek sculptures - Hygiia. You may know, but I will tell you, however, that in the Greek mythology, she was a protector of pharmacists and in general health. Her sculpture was created in the fourth century BC and is portrayed as a young woman who is a symbol of health.
According to the writings, this is the work of the famous sculptor of Skopas, who, thanks to this sculpture, was celebrated and known by one of the most important sculptors of this era.
On the basis of his sculpture, many others were created, which the authors adapted to her, that is, they performed sculptures of young women as a symbol of health and beauty. One of these is also this head performed which is my theme for today. Below I will show you my work and steps, or the way I worked. The work is done with coal, on hammer paper of size 80x100cm.
Hope you like it. :)

This is my finally work, and below are the steps of my work...
