Duomo Painting Project / work in progress / St. Matthew detail
When I am working on such a large canvas, especially one that is almost all detail work, I like to get one section going so that the composition starts to take on a 3d effect. That way the work looks amazing and I want to get going on the rest!

You can see that most of the canvas is still very white, this is a project that should take a good bit of time to complete. So far so good!
