The trees in my yard reached their peak colors and displayed their autumnal glory.

"Filtered Sunrise"

Soon there will be no leaves to filter the sunlight as it emerges each morning, and some days the sun won't even present itself.

Squirrels built several "lofty" nests in preparation for the cold winter anticipated this year. They have been busy burying nuts around the property since August.

The radiant shades of amber colored leaves took on a bright glow as they basked in the morning sun.

An unforgettable view! Mother Nature couldn't be any more captivating than when she dresses up in her magnificent display of autumn foliage colors.

Colorful souvenirs greet and remind me of the beauty that once adorned the tree limbs.

Traces of yellow ochre linger on the faded leaf -- still creating an enthralling sight!
