What is my secret to being Positive everyday?

I have been asked more often online and offline lately about my Positivity. The question most asked is what is my secret to being positive everyday? Statements like: You cannot possibly be positive all the time. And they would be correct.

I covered this before, but it is worth repeating to my daily readers and anyone new that might be reading my blog.

It takes effort. When I roll out of bed in the morning, and get the washroom, then down a few steps to put the kettle on for my morning cup of coffee, I can tell you there more than likely is zero positivity. Not even awake yet. lol

But somewhere between the kettle and the laptop, I would say 15 feet, I have my positivity suit hung up. And just like any great super hero, I put my suit on before I get to my laptop and I become Mr. Positive.

So, what is my Secret to being Positive everyday? You have to to do it. That is it, no giant secret. You just have to make a commitment to yourself. The only thing in life you can truly control is your attitude. Once you do that everything will fall into place.

Some people call it enlightenment, some people need to find their 'god'. Some people need Gurus. The list can go on and on.

I had to find myself. The positive self that was inside me. Even if it takes some effort. Everything in life takes effort. Just become, force yourself to become positive and reap the rewards.

I was in the lunch room at work yesterday, yes during lunch. lol. And the Boss. The boss of our car dealership and about 8 or more other businesses in my area. The dealership I work at was her first, it is the flag ship. Well you get the idea. She is the Boss.

At one time this type of thing did not matter to me. Yes I know we are all human, we all put out paints on one leg at a time. But I had to step back and realise I had to start playing the game. To get on the same page, improve my page, get a better page, no be in a different book than the rest of the world if I wanted to do better for myself and my family.

The point is, she just got back to work after being gone for a couple weeks and after she seen me she said something along the lines of: You are getting quite the reputation for being positive all the time. That is fantastic to hear.

Apparently on my fellow workers are passing along the world.

Why is this all happening? Because me and only me decide ever morning to put on my Positivity Suit.
