Time to give more love. First of a series of Curation posts

So since a few days ago this SMALL MINNOW is a BIG MINNOW... :) I kind of feel like a small mouse inside a bigger suit, It is a bit overwhelming but equally exciting and I'm really grateful to @msp-makeaminnow and @Eturnexx for providing me 5000 SP delegation for the following weeks. Thanks also to @mfxae86 (previous winner) for the encouragement and advice. It's going to be a challenge as these weeks are rather hectic for me and I'll make it reach out. Expect some leafy green tender hearts on your way!

I will try to make it reach to as many as possible but still I wanted to write some curations posts to grant full votes to a selection now that my vote is like 10 times more powerful than usual. I will resume @dlive concerts too including some curation specific threads. They will have different themes: High Quality blogs, Music Curation, Curations of Curations (Cura-inception) but each one will include too also a couple of "Contests" (as ways of promote engagement) and "Charities".

So here we start!

What makes a High Quality Steemit blog?

This might be a subjective and depend on our personal taste... still we all can "spot" a shitpost and distinguish a high quality, well written article from a non formatted mess with no meaningful content... We know what's a consistent blog with original content and what is a hurried post with the only purpose to mine some quick money sometimes with "copy-pasted" stolen contents. Can we still see the value even if topics are out of our interest? I think we do. And sure, most of them are not precisely trending... but thanks to all the teams of Curations they get a chance to be seen. And Curation is not only on the shoulders of @curie and @ocd (bless you both) but ALL OF US as users. We all have a great power, encouragement, a voice. We all as content creators enjoy someone stops by and say... you are doing a good job. And to most of us, despite scarce rewards, it can make a difference to keep us engaged in the platform.

Please feel free to recommend me your favourite ones on the comments! (not yourselves, please but people you think deserves more love). I will review them for forthcoming features and it will also help me to discover new talented fellow Steemians. The only one condition... recommend another one that is not yourself but someone you genuinely enjoy reading and you think has high quality as a blogger. If you feel someone is worth to be checked by all means share it down there :)

I try my best on my own though feedback about my own feed is also welcome, and fee free to advice what you think It could be improved. Meanwhile, here there are some examples I hand picked:

3 examples of what I consider High Quality Steemit bloggers (Drop your suggestions in comments)

Here are 3 examples of what I consider fine bloggers here on Steem. Consistently posting high quality content and always a joy to revisit:

@photovisions

Selection of photographies by @photovisions

This is one of the first accounts I followed when I first joined Steemit and one I usually return to because of its beauty . The quality of his photography is amazing, even in shorter posts they stand out. At first glance you find all these stunning shots and there is no doubt we are talking about a professional photographer sharing his visions of our planet through his eyes. He often shares longer posts and compilations, even curation initiatives, contests and some in depth amazing tutorials, like how to make moody "low light" Nature pictures, or how to make photos of Northern Lights. Both landscapes and macro details... the whole feed is consistent and a joy to explore. If your spirit is a traveler this is a must-stop blog.

@llfarms

Justine is another of my favourite blogs on Steemit... A homesteader, lover of the beauty of a slower life... she never misses the beauty of an unfurling flower, the warmth of sunset, the gentle breeze... She would not miss it and thus she share that with you. She is also a curator from @curie and knows her job well... Her blog is well formatted, eye-catchy and wether she shares a random walk and fairy house fungi, her recipes or organic home remedies or thought provoking thoughts about curation, there is an utter respect for Nature exuding from every post... @llfarms blog is a peaceful place run by a gentle spirit... and you quite feel like wanting to have a hot mug of tea and seat by her porch, and hear the crickets while twilight darkens into a starlit night. A little haven for me.

@zen-art

@zen-art Petra is a good example of multi-disciplinary blog. It is true that sometimes you would suppose niche-specific blogs would be better, but there is a coherent thread that gathers Petra's post... She's spiritual, positive and curious and that "gathers" and connects all her posts seamlessly.
From her personal Ulogs to scientific essays, almost every single post is excellently formatted and with a clear amount of research behind. From meditation, how to deal with emotions, spiritual themes to thought provoking scientific essays... From cute DIY and crafts to a yummy smoothie... Petra is an entertainer... and a motivator. She is positive and knows well how to engage her readers to come back for more. Another must stop in my opinion. And always will leave you muttering How interesting

So What makes a high quality steemit blog for you? Which are your favourites?

I try my best on my own, though feedback about my own blog is welcome. And I provided examples above of three feeds that engaged me as a follower... but what are your favourite feeds and why? what makes them extraordinary? Drop your suggestions, I will try to review them. Meanwhile next week I will upload another selection of this kind.
But I'm compromised to make several curation posts during this weeks and next stop is "Curation of Curators". Because sometimes you have to give for what you receive. Stay tuned!

Contest of the Day: TEAM OF TWO ( A good example of building bonds between Steemit artists)

Talented illustrators @veryspider and @scrawly have come up with an excellent idea to engage visual artists not only to participate in it but to collaborate with each other and who knows maybe trigger partnerships between artists... I think it's a humbling idea to have to get together to create a work of art... I can see this idea easily spread into other Art disciplines.

Charities of the day

Here a couple of charities and calls we have upvoted today... Go and show your love

@Tygertyger has made several times distress calls... She's taking care of many animals included handicapped and all she asks is for a little support for supplies and food. She is a warrior dealing with some serious health issues too, but still generous to take in animals in dire situation. Anything is welcome, even an upvote.

And also @lindahas charity to collect fruits and snacks for a School of Children in Bangladesh @SchoolForSDG4 She has been doing these 57 weeks in a row. She is a generous soul and always so quiet and humble about it.

And also @tarc has uploaded a post linking to a fundition.io crowdfunding for their dog shelter run by noble witness @rhondak. If you can't donate at least consider to upvote:

Curation series will go rounds with these basic themes: What's next!

  • High Quality Bloggers: Like this post... what do you think should trend?
  • Curation of curators and communities: Because you have to give back for what you receive. Thanks to all of you for your work. It will feature curations by teams like @curie @ocd and @c-squared but also curations done by users and initiatives that though lacking voting power never fail to encourage
  • Music and Art curation (yes, it includes poetry and writing too)
  • Underrated Steeamians: especially for those dwelling in the dreadful zeroland
    Stay tuned!!

I want to say thanks also to @helpie and @thealliance for providing me a safe space and a family to belong too.
Remember we may be plankton or minnows in a vast ocean... the feeling is overwhelming... but we can gather and be a big shoal. We gather and we grow together

Brandnew NEWS... @helpie is now a WITNESS (I'm going to vote for it like right now) because:
