A very technique to get some interesting entry level light painting done is always steel wool. It’s very simple actually - you put some into a whisk and light it up and spin it on a rope. When doing it safely in an environment where nothing can catch fire its ok, it can turn out extremely cool. This picture is taken in Paria canyon in Utah. There was just sand and rocks all around, nothing that can burn or catch fire. If you ever want to try that, do me a favor and don’t put yourself on fire and make sure you have a fire extinguisher if something else catches fire. Don’t be foolish - be responsible!
