**THEME: CAVE SLUG** Edition: UNTAMED Rarity: COMMON Element: LIFE ATTACK: MELEE ABILITIES: Opportunity at level 1; Scavenger at level 6; Slow at level 10 Cave Slug is the only kind of slug from splinterlands that devours victims quite quickly and lives in a place known as Baluthar's Deep in southern Khymeria. With the "Opportunity" ability, this monster can be a nice asset for the life splinter. This one can attack from any position and mostly attacks the opponent monster with the lowest health. My CAVE SLUG is in level 1 with 2 melee attacks, 1 speed, 4 health with the "Opportunity" ability and it needs 5 mana to play. It's about Shieldbearer, man. He is mighty, he is not scared of anyone and he is a brave soldier who fights for his team from the front side and who doesn't think twice before he needs to sacrifice himself for his team. Yeah, Shieldbearer is such a warrior with great powers. Being a melee attacker, he attacks from the front side and defends his team. This warrior doesn't know how to lose the battle but he knows how to sacrifice himself for his team. My Shieldbearer is in level 1 with 2 melee attacks, 2 speed, 4 shields & 9 health with "Taunt" ability and it needs 8 mana. I used Silvershield Warrior almost in every battle with life splinter because of its "reach" ability and then I've found out this amazing eagle with "reach" ability which I started using recently when I get extra mana cap battle as it needs 2 more mana than Silvershield Warrior although it has better powers. With its "flying" ability in level 1, it can be so helpful in a battle with the "Earthquake" ruleset. My LUMINOUS EAGLE is in level 2 with 3 melee attacks, 3 speed, 5 health with "Reach & Flying" ability and it needs 6 mana. Fans of DC's Arrow or DC universe would remember the character **Black Canary** after seeing the appearance of this character as Black Canary also has the power to scream in loud in order to attack enemies like this Evangelist shows in its appearance. This monster has a special ability in the beginning level which is "Snare" and that allows it to removes the flying ability of a monster with the flying ability and for the "Snare" ability, this monster can't miss its attack. I personally like this monster on the battlefield. My EVANGELIST is in level 1 with 3 ranged attacks, 2 speeds, 5 health with "Snare" ability and it needs 6 mana to play. This is the card that I use when there's a slot left but no mana left. I mean its service is great for free I suppose. Right now... I can't imagine playing a match without this card. It's like the chicken that lays the golden egg. It provides great support with its counterattack. With 0 mana... it's just amazing. My Furious Chicken is in level 1 with 1 speed, 1 health and It needs 0 mana to play. And for the special buff of my opponent's summoner Zintar Mortalis, 3 of my monsters lost 1 melee attack each. And for the special ability "Weaken" of my opponent's Undead Priest, all my monsters lost 1 health each except the Furious Chicken as it had only 1 health. --- ![ezgif.com-gif-maker (1).gif](https://images.hive.blog/DQmNpjrtkfgCsdav1vBbswK8Ane8xt1GRjaXiJdPAva5jHe/ezgif.com-gif-maker%20(1).gif) --- Then... for being the most speed holder, my Cave Slug started the battle with its first attack on my opponent's Screaming Banshee and killed that monster for good with the starting shot, and right after that, my opponent's Haunted Spider and Haunted Spirit attacked my Shieldbearer while the Haunted Spirit kinda missed the attack with 0 damage as my Shieldbearer had the "Divine Shield" ability which allows it to ignore the very first attack and Haunted Spirit killed 2 shields out of 4. Then my Shielbearer, then Evangelist, and then Luminous Eagle one after another attacked the Haunted Spirit of my opponent and killed a total of 5 health out of 7. Then my opponent's Twisted Jester & Phantom Soldier attacked my Shiledbearer where the Twisted Jester destroyed the shield and Phantom Soldier killed two health of my Shieldbearer. --- ![ezgif.com-gif-maker (2).gif](https://images.hive.blog/DQmWFeppm9cCXNGu4gHgk6kJWnsqJJgaZKw3gZoZQKV7xqm/ezgif.com-gif-maker%20(2).gif) --- My Cave Slug started another round by killing 1 health of my opponent's Haunted Spirit. Then after the Haunted Spider of my opponent attacked and killed 2 health of my Shieldbearer, my opponent's Haunted Spirit first healed 2 health and then attacked and killed 1 more health of my Shieldbearer. Then my Shieldbearer and Evangelist one after another attacked and killed the Haunted Spirit of my opponent and the opponent monster had to leave the battlefield immediately. --- ![ezgif.com-gif-maker (3).gif](https://images.hive.blog/DQmTGn2fHQ3VtvWmq5nopztgmQNjn92mMRAUqzRRaRJve74/ezgif.com-gif-maker%20(3).gif) --- After my Luminous Eagle attacked and killed only 1 health of my opponent's Phantom Soldier, the Twisted Jester of my opponent attacked and killed my Shieldbearer, and now they (my opponent monsters) don't need to attack only my Shieldbearer as none of my monsters has the "Taunt" ability now. Then my opponent's Phantom Soldier attacked my Luminous Eagle but there was 0 damage because my Luminous Eagle had the "Divine Shield" ability. Then my Cave Slug attacked and killed 1 health of my opponent's Haunted Spider and that Haunted Spider then attacked and killed 2 health of my Luminous Eagle. Then my Evangelist attacked and killed 3 health of my opponent's Phantom Soldier and my Evangelist also added the "Snare" action on the opponent monster. Then my Luminous Eagle attacked and killed 1 health of my opponent's Phantom Soldier, opponent's Twisted Jester attacked my Evangelist and it was a 0 damage for the Divine Shield, and then my opponent's Phantom Soldier attacked and killed my Luminous Eagle at last. --- ![ezgif.com-gif-maker (4).gif](https://images.hive.blog/DQmQdy3Kj9PzJMjDbJQQrsNRaLPy5171qaSb8AwzVjDFJMP/ezgif.com-gif-maker%20(4).gif) --- After my Cave Slug attacked and killed 1 health of my opponent's Phantom Soldier, Haunted Spider of my opponent attacked my Cave Slug and it was a 0 damage for Divine Shield. Then my Evangelist attacked and killed the opponent's Phantom Soldier and that soldier had to leave the battlefield at last. Then my opponent's Twisted Jester attacked and killed 2 health of my Evangelist. Then my Cave Slug and Evangelist attacked one after another and killed the Undead Priest of my opponent and my monsters got back the lost health that they lost for the "Weaken" ability of my opponent's Undead Priest, and in the meantime, my opponent's Haunted Spirit attacked and killed 1 health of my Cave Slug. --- ![image.png](https://images.hive.blog/DQmZUhYe7c7ETG7PGBWJLeARLWbheH4HE4wNbrqe9F1unFh/image.png) --- At this moment, anything can happen. If my Cave Slug somehow misses the next attack on my opponent's Haunted Spirit then I'll lose the battle for sure but if my Cave Slug doesn't miss the next attack then the victory is mine for sure so it's kind of in the hands of my Cave Slug now whether I'll win or not. --- ![ezgif.com-gif-maker (5).gif](https://images.hive.blog/DQmeSixrxydGDibemnfaGGnyqWBXD7iuFSugDoTNZXEjxpK/ezgif.com-gif-maker%20(5).gif) --- My opponent's Twisted Jester attacked and killed 2 health of my Evangelist... I was lucky that the attack wasn't on my Cave Slug, otherwise, I'd lose the battle for sure. Then there came a new round, and my Cave Slug got passed with its next attack by killing my opponent's Haunted Spirit leaving the opponent with only one monster that was a ranged monster on the first position unable to attack. So, I knew at that moment that victory was mine for sure. After my Evangelist attacked and killed 3 health of my opponent's Twisted Jester, my Cave Slug attacked and killed that last monster of my opponent and finished the battle. The battle got finished in round 7 while my team only had 3 monsters alive include the Cave Slug.
