# 1 ¿Estas feliz con la vida que estas teniendo ahora mismo? / Are you happy with the life you are having right now?

Estoy feliz con mi vida ahora mismo, estoy tranquila y no me estoy estresando ni dándome mala vida por nada ni por nadie, los problemas económicos de mi país no son algo que pueda cambiar yo sola pero puedo decidir la forma de enfrentarme a esa situación difícil , vivo tranquila dentro de lo que que cabe y soy feliz con mi familia, el hecho de haber tenido a mis hijas a una buena edad hace que pueda disfrutar de verlas adultas, capaces y fuertes, asimismo mis nietos le dan mucha felicidad a mi vida.

I am happy with my life right now, I am calm and I am not stressing or giving myself a bad life for anything or anyone, the economic problems of my country are not something that I can change by myself but I can decide how to face this difficult situation, I live calm as far as I can and I am happy with my family, the fact that I have had my daughters at a good age makes me enjoy seeing them grown up, capable and strong, also my grandchildren give me a lot of happiness to my life.

# 2 ¿Si tu vida termina mañana, seguirías haciendo lo mismo que hoy? / If your life ends tomorrow, would you continue doing what you are doing today?

Creo que trataría de arreglar todo y dejar en orden las cosas, arreglar los papeles de mi casa o al menos escribir una última voluntad para no dejar motivos para discusiones innecesarias entre mis familiares, me gustaría reunirme con mi familia porque siempre trato de que nos mantengamos unidos, casi siempre voy a casa de mi papa y mis hermanas al menos una vez a la semana, así que visitarlos no estaría fuera de lo habitual para mí, por eso siento que haría lo mismo si mi vida terminara mañana.

I think I would try to fix everything and leave things in order, fix the papers in my house or at least write a last will to not leave reasons for unnecessary arguments between my relatives, I would like to meet with my family because I always try to keep us together, I almost always go to my dad and my sisters house at least once a week, so visiting them would not be out of the ordinary for me, so I feel I would do the same if my life would end tomorrow.

# 3 La vida pasa en un abrir y cerrar de ojos, ¿por qué crees que hay tantas personas haciendo lo que no les gusta? / Life goes by in the blink of an eye, why do you think there are so many people doing what they don't like?

Porque no les queda de otra alternativa, hay pocas opciones, el mundo no es perfecto y las condiciones laborales en muchos países no permiten escoger el trabajo y aunque muchas personas se esfuerzan, las desigualdades sociales de educación, vivienda y servicios no permiten que las personas se dediquen o encuentren para lo que son buenos, porque en otras palabras la gente trabaja porque hay que hacerlo y eso no es culpa de la persona.

Por otro lado, hay personas que pueden encontrar su vocación a diferentes edades o pueden ejercer su vocación cuando al fin logran saltar las dificultades que se lo impedían con anterioridad, por ejemplo mi difunto esposo conoció su vocación bastante tarde, después de que enviudó de su primera esposa y tenía que buscar la forma de trabajar más cerca de sus hijos, esto hizo que dejara de ser obrero de hacienda, trabajo que él hacía desde que era un niño, entonces siendo ya un hombre bastante maduro encontró que su pasión era la fabricación de instrumentos musicales y fue uno de los mejores de Venezuela, es decir, a veces las personas tardan en encontrar su camino a lo que verdaderamente les gusta, lamentablemente muchas personas no lo logran y viven su vida solo trabajando de lo que le es posible, pero aun así no es menos importante, porque las personas necesitan vivir y dicen que no hay empleo malo.

Yo quería estudiar y quería ser maestra pero no pude salir de campo donde nací sino hasta que tuve edad suficiente para hacerlo por mi cuenta, pero en la ciudad decidí ser madre y formar una familia, en lugar de decir que no trabajé lo que me gustaba, puedo decir que fui la mejor madre que pude ser y puse todo de mi para ejercer mi función de madre y ama de casa, hoy estoy disfrutando de la tranquilidad de que ya crié mis hijas e hice todo lo posible por darles una buena educación y mostrarles valores.

On the other hand, there are people who can find their vocation at different ages or can exercise their vocation when they finally manage to overcome the difficulties that prevented them before, for example my late husband knew his vocation quite late, after he was widowed from his first wife and had to find a way to work closer to his children, this made him stop being a farm laborer, work he did since he was a child, then being already a quite mature man he found that his passion was the manufacture of musical instruments and was one of the best in Venezuela, that is, sometimes people take time to find their way to what they really like, unfortunately many people do not make it and live their lives only working what is possible, but still it is not less important, because people need to live and they say that there is no bad job.

I wanted to study and I wanted to be a teacher but I could not leave the country where I was born until I was old enough to do it on my own, but in the city I decided to be a mother and raise a family, instead of saying that I did not work what I liked, I can say that I was the best mother I could be and I put all of me to exercise my role as mother and housewife, today I am enjoying the tranquility that I raised my daughters and I did everything possible to give them a good education and show them values.

# 4 ¿Qué haces para mejorar tu versión actual? / What are you doing to improve your current version?

Siempre soy una persona muy preocupada por las cosas de la casa y por mi familia, lo que hago cada día es tratar de no estresarme, porque antes me daba muy mala vida y con la edad he aprendido que mi tranquilidad es importante y debo darle prioridad a mi persona.

I am always a person who is very concerned about things at home and for my family. What I do every day is to try not to stress myself, because I used to give myself a very bad life and with age I have learned that my peace of mind is important and I must give priority to myself.

# 5 ¿Cuál es tu mayor temor? / What is your biggest fear?

Mi mayor temor es la vejez, es decir llegar a una edad muy avanzada y enfermarme tanto como para ser una carga para mi familia, perder la independencia y perder el control sobre mi cuerpo o perder mis capacidades mentales debido a la edad, creo que es mi mayor temor.

# 7 ¿Qué consejos le darías a tu yo más joven? / What advice would you give to your younger self?

No tomar decisiones impulsivamente y retomar los estudios a pesar de ser madre, esforzarme el doble como para no descuidar ningún deber con mi familia y poder cumplir el sueño de estudiar que me quedó sin cumplir.

Not to make impulsive decisions and to resume my studies despite being a mother, to make double the effort to not neglect any duty to my family and to be able to fulfill the dream of studying that I had left unfulfilled.

# 8 ¿Le temes a la muerte? / Are you afraid of death?

No le temo a la muerte, el día que me toque morir me tocará, le tengo mucho miedo al dolor y las enfermedades que prolongan el sufrimiento antes de la muerte, le temo a las enfermedades largas y dolorosas, no a morir.

I am not afraid of death, the day I die I will die, I am very afraid of pain and diseases that prolong the suffering before death, I am afraid of long and painful illnesses, not of dying.

# 9 ¿Vives o sobrevives? / Do you live or survive?

Yo vivo, creo que sobrevivir solo significa tratar de solventar las necesidades diarias sin albergar ninguna esperanza, aunque los venezolanos estemos pasando por momentos muy difíciles yo no pierdo las esperanza de que todo va a mejorar algún día y por ello vivo mi vida, puedo enfocarme igualmente en los gastos diarios de mi casa pero sé que hay mucho mas que eso en la vida, disfrutar los buenos momentos es parte indispensable y no podemos permitir que nada ni nadie nos quite la alegría de vivir.

I live, I believe that surviving only means trying to meet the daily needs without harboring any hope, although Venezuelans are going through very difficult times I do not lose hope that everything will improve someday and so I live my life, I can focus equally on the daily expenses of my house but I know that there is much more to life, enjoy the good times is an indispensable part and we can not allow anyone or anything to take away the joy of living.
